Practical and simple tent anchoring with steel weights
Steel weights, commonly called counterweights, are a practical, quick, and effective solution to weigh down the tent. If the stakes you receive free with each tent are insufficient or cannot be used due to a hard surface, there is an alternative in the form of steel weights. Anchoring is quick: simply place the steel weight on the tent leg, and it’s done. Sold in sets.
For tents of 3x3 m and larger, we recommend using 2 weights per tent leg, so if the tent has 4 legs, use 8 weights; for a tent with 6 legs, 12 pieces. Equipped with a practical handle to facilitate carrying. The weights can also be stacked. To avoid damaging the weights, store them directly by the tent legs. Do not drop the plates on a hard surface, as there is a risk of damage.
